Your community. Real impact.
Parent Faculty Club for Hidden Valley Elementary in Martinez, CA
Part of the Mt. Diablo Unified School District.
Every dollar raised by the Hidden Valley Parent Faculty Club goes directly back into our school — funding the people, programs, and supplies that make Hidden Valley Elementary exceptional.

Welcome Hawks
Thank you for visiting the Hidden Valley Parent Faculty Club. The PFC is the equivalent to a PTA. We’re a partnership between parents, guardians, and faculty working together to fill gaps the district budget can’t cover, create programs that enrich every student’s experience, and build a school community where every family feels welcome.
Every HVE family is automatically a member. No dues and no sign-up required.
What we Do
We show up so every student can thrive
Every dollar we raise, every event we host, and every program we fund goes directly back to your kids and your school.
We fund what the district can’t
State funding cuts hit our school every year. The PFC steps in to cover real gaps — from supervision staff to classroom supplies — so teachers can teach and students can thrive.
We build community
From Hawktoberfest to Multicultural Night, PFC produces the events that bring Hidden Valley families together and make this school feel like home.
We invest in enrichment
Garden education, performing arts, cultural celebrations — programs that go beyond the basics and help every child discover what they love.
Our Programs
-
Additional noon supervisors
PFC directly funds campus supervision staff to ensure every student is safe and supported during lunch and recess — beyond what the district provides.
-
Garden program
Hands-on outdoor learning with Growing Healthy Kids. PFC funded 50% of the cost in 2025/2026. District funding is being cut for next year — PFC is stepping up to fill the gap and keep every child learning in the garden
-
Classroom supplies for teachers
From paper to project materials, PFC makes sure no teacher has to reach into their own pocket. Each teacher can ask the PFC to reimburse up to $600 in expenses, with an extra $100 available to anyone teaching a new grade.
-
Missoula Children’s Theatre
A professional traveling theater residency that gives every student a chance to perform, build confidence, and experience live arts.
-
Food pantry
The PFC funded new storage cabinets to establish a permanent, year-round food pantry to support our families during times of extra need. We also sponsor extra meals during school breaks and support community food drive donations to keep the pantry stocked throughout the year.
-
Walk and Roll – coming soon
Walk and Roll is our weekly initiative to get Hawks students moving, connecting, and arriving at school in a healthier, greener way. Every week, students are encouraged to walk, ride, scoot, or carpool to school and earn a small reward. Each student has a unique scan tag on their backpack that gets checked in on…
-
Angel Tree
Each December, Hidden Valley families have the opportunity to support their neighbors by adopting a gift tag and making a child’s holiday wishes come true.
-
Yearbook
Each year, PFC volunteers create a cherished keepsake yearbook for every Hidden Valley family — filled with memories from across the school year and a special place for fifth graders to leave their mark.

PFC meetings are at the heart of what makes Hidden Valley such a strong, connected community. When you show up, you stay in the loop, share your ideas, and work alongside other families and staff to help every student thrive.
It’s your chance to raise concerns, hear about what’s coming up at school, and have a real say in decisions that shape the Hidden Valley experience. Your presence deepens the bond between families and educators, and sends a powerful message to our kids that their education matters to all of us.
Together, we make Hidden Valley a more vibrant, supportive place to learn and grow.
